ABOUT RACHEL

I've always been drawn to the power of photography, and the way it conveys something which the moving image can never do.  A photograph forever captures a split second in time, and a silent frozen picture can speak a thousand words. 

We're fascinated by old pictures of our ancestors, and it was this that led me to want to document weddings.   Family history is often overlooked in the big scheme of things, but I believe it's the individual stories that give the true picture of how things used to be.

As well as weddings, I specialise in film and television photography, and my work has appeared in most of the national press.
